The DualDisplay cable connects VTBook directly to one VGA
and one DVI display (dual VGA is not supported) bringing the total number of
displays connected to the notebook to three (if the notebook has an external
video output), for a grand total of four displays including the notebook's
internal LCD.
This cable is 1.8m (5.9 feet) long and is designed to be directly connected
to the displays. At one end of the cable you can find the DVI-I connector,
that plugs into VTBook, and at the other end of the dual cable you can see
two male connectors, one VGA and one DVI-D, to plug into the displays.

The difference between Dual Display and Virtual DualDisplay
resolutions:

Dual Display resolution |

Virtual DualDisplay resolution |
|
|
| DualDisplay Resolutions |
Each display connected to VTBook is represented
in Windows by a different, independent screen. Displays can be
arranged in any position.
This arrangement best suits applications that need multiple separate
screens to work properly, as for example financial ones.
Available resolutions:
All resolutions on the VTBook
specs not bigger than 1280x1024@60Hz at 16bpp.
|
| Virtual DualDisplay Resolutions |
The two displays
connected to VTBook are tied together to form an unique screen.
This arrangement best suits applications that are not designed to work with
multiple displays and place all windows in one big enclosing window. A Virtual
DualDisplay resolution can trick these applications to use more than one display
without knowing. |

VT MultiDisplay is the ultimate companion for any Windows
multi display users both on desktops and laptops.
VT MultiDisplay is an extremely
useful Windows utility that extends the operating system's multi display support
with a wide range of features, including extended window management, smart
taskbar, multi display desktop wallpapers and many more.
VT MultiDisplay enables you to quickly and effectively
manage multiple screen configurations: it integrates perfectly with Windows
and it is highly customizable for your needs. It is compatible with with Windows
98, ME, 2000, XP, Server 2003 and, currently with limited capabilities, with
Windows Vista. 64bit versions are supported as well
This is a description of some of the most useful features
in VT MultiDisplay. Many more features are available as well.
Window management
Quickly move windows between monitors or maximize a window to the desktop using
the additional window buttons added by VT MultiDisplay.
|
VT MultiDisplay adds
two useful buttons to the standard Windows window
buttons |
|
The Maximize to desktop button
enlarges the window to the whole desktop size,
covering all available displays. |
|
The Move window button
conveniently moves the window to a screen of your
choice. Even if the window is maximized! |
Desktop
Wallpaper
The VT MultiDisplay wallpaper manager
adds the ability to use a different picture on each monitor,
or stretch a single picture across the desktop.

Smart Taskbar
VT MultiDisplay adds an additional
taskbar for each secondary monitor, and each taskbar
only shows tasks from the monitor it is on. This makes
managing lots of open applications much easier, and when
activating an application, you'll know on which monitor
it will appear.
Application
positioning
Use the VT MultiDisplay tabs added
to a shortcut's properties to set an application's position
or use custom display settings when the application is
running.

Display
profiles
With display profiles, you can quickly
change the settings of one or more monitors. You can
also create a display profile that gets applied when
logging in, especially useful when the computer is used
by more than one person, and not everyone wants to use
the same display settings.
Screen
savers
Most screen savers only run on the primary
monitor. VT MultiDisplay can blank the secondary monitors
when the screen saver is running, or run additional screen
savers on secondary monitors.
Mirroring
Mirror the primary monitor on one or
more secondary monitors, for example when doing a presentation.
A unique feature is support for different resolutions,
the primary monitor can run at a higher resolution for
example. Mirroring is only available on Windows 2000
and XP.
VT Voilà

Short description
VT Voilà is a suite of interface enhancements for Mac
OS X that considerably speeds up user interaction with large (and very large)
screen configurations. It features pointer jump and scaled multiscreen overview
and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later. It's Universal Binary.
Longer description
VT Voilà is a suite of interface enhancements that considerably
speeds up user interaction with large (and very large) screen configurations.
We recognized two main problems the multi display user must face:
- Mouse pointer traveling time (and space on desk as a side effect).
- Lost items, that can be the mouse pointer or the current task or the next
task he wants to switch to.
Moreover, if the user is working on one or more panned screens (even more
space available!), another problem may arise:
- Some screen real estate is temporarily hidden.
VT Voilà is a simple yet effective solution for these inconveniences.
However, we have to admit that there is a major drawback in VT Voilà:
it is highly addictive. We have observed customers that, while forced to use
other computers, were frantically hitting the VT Voilà hot keys
trying to make their cursors jump. Even on single screen systems!
VT Voilà is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later. It's Universal
Binary.

Main VT Voilà features:
Voilà - Never lose the overview! Voilà presents all your screen
space in an overview as little as you wish and you are just one click away
from any pixel of your humongous multi display setup!
Hey! - Never lose your mouse pointer again!
Jump! - Cover any distance on screen instantaneously! Make your mouse pointer
jump between all the useful locations you need in no time: you won’t
even need a single click!
Please note tha product pictures, presentations and
media materials can be found in the Media&Press area.
