Software License
VT Voilà is free for everyone to use. If a
compatible combination of a Village Tronic graphics
card and driver is found, the software will simply
run and some card specific features will become available.
If VT Voilà can't detect a compatible installation,
an ad will be shown every time the user will access
the VT Voilà system preference.
You can see this as a kind of mixed bundleware-adware
license.
Installation
Installing VT Voilà does not require a reboot.
However, if you installed a previous version of VT
Voilà it is best to deactivate it before installing
the new version. To deactivate VT Voilà, go
in the VT Voilà preference pane, click on the "Deactivate
VT Voilà Now" button in the Activation
panel and close System Preferences.
Required configuration
VT Voilà requires Mac OS X version 10.3 (Panther)
or later.
Both Intel and PowerPC Macs are supported.
If a compatible Village Tronic graphics card and driver
combination is installed on the system, VT Voilà will
offer additional control for the Village Tronic graphics
card.
